Dear President Bush,

I am very heartened to hear you promoting a "culture of life." It makes me happy to know you will stop bombing innocent people, you'll allow mothers in Texas to keep their babies hooked up to life support, even when they can't pay for it, you will look at issues that cause our children to shoot each other in school (and you will comment on such situations in the future as quickly as you have remarked on Terri Schiavo's death - not waiting to be admonished for it before stepping up to the mike), you will allow death row inmates the chance to prove their innocence through all available scientific means, you will perhaps consider life imprisonment for horrendous offenders is better for our nation's collective soul - as opposed to state sanctioned murder - you will leave no stone unturned when it comes to battling AIDS, at home and abroad and you will do all in your power to make sure no-one starves to death anywhere in the world.

Thank you so much Mr. Bush, you have completely restored my faith in you and your presidency.
