Need some political info on a company...
Hobby Lobby.

I went on a shopping trip to Green Bay to pick up some last minute things and one of the stops we made waas to this Hobby Lobby place so that my father could look for a particular state quarter book that he was looking for. (He collects State quarteres) A couple of things tripped my "Red-Dar" while I was there.
Firstly a sign on the front door that said that the store was closed every sunday to "give our employees time for worship and family", secondly, the Muzak system was playing this instrumental version of the hymn Bringing in the Sheaves. Dad didn't find what he was looking for, and I bought nothing, (Except the free 2005 Estes catalog) I just looked at the Model rockets (They really fuck thier customers over on Estes engines. I can get them two and a quatrer bucks cheaper at my locally owned and operated hobby store in Stevens Point) and the scale model Aircraft. (Lots of the latest kits, nice selection, unfortunatley, none of the cool vintage kits that I can find at my local hobby place).

ISTOOK, ERNEST J JR (R)
House (OK 05)
FRIENDS OF ERNEST ISTOOK

Oh yes, author of the failed Istook Amendment...

Section I: Neither the United States nor any State shall abridge the freedom of any person or group, including students in public schools, to engage in prayer or other religious expression in circumstances in which expression of a non-religious character would be permitted; nor deny benefits to or otherwise discriminate against any person or group on account of the religious character of their speech, ideas, motivations, or identity.

Section II: Nothing in the Constitution shall be construed to forbid the United States or any State to give public or ceremonial accommodation to the religious heritage, beliefs, or traditions of its people.

Section III: The exercise, by the people, of any freedoms under the First Amendment or under this Amendment shall not constitute an establishment of religion.

I don't think I will be going back there.

Offering our customers an exceptional selection and unbeatable value.

Unbeatable value, my ass. Ain't there something in the Bible that says that you aren't supposed to lie?

Here's some info about the guy he supported for Seante this time around...
