I do think you're an intelligent woman, so I've never understood why you've bought, hook line and sinker, the fundamentalist, big government, utilitarian, nanny state agenda.

Is it because you're Catholic? I notice that many people of good will, good brains and good intentions get waylaid by church dogma. But, there are many good Catholics who DON'T buy into the neo-dark age theology, so why don't you try hanging out with some of them?
