PS - I once had an amazing car crash and for the next 5-10 minutes, spoke exactly the way this caller did. It may have been a set-up, but I don't doubt her stutter was genuine.

29. The disabled community has been frightened quite a bit in the last

two decades. I believe this could be a read disabled activist. There are cases where the disabled have been murdered by family members, etc. So it is a big fear for them.

I think it is a legitimate take. I mean I am totally against taking out someone's feeding tube without a living will (verbal is okay as long as family all agrees). I think most Democrats feel this way.

The trouble may be in the USA. If what is going on in Texas is true of other states I would be terrified. I mean people are being unplugged when they just can't pay? That is horrific?

I live in Canada so the issue of 'can't pay' is very, very rare. But I whole heartedly support the disabled community in their activism.
So long as what they are afraid of happens.. yes they have a case. I don't think Terry is such a good example to exemplify their case. She is not disabled. She is much more than that.

I hope that the Bush machine is not terrifying the disabled community..but then again Bush already has by passing that law that says if a family can't pay.. they don't get to decide. I for one find that very scary. I would like to know more.
