Clinton's speech at the steak fry
He was great, and looked great but I wish I'd been taking notes. he used three words to describe the GOP and three to describe the Dems. I can't remember them does anyone else?

I did notice he said "we are thankful and they feel entitled." That is exactly how I see the difference between Republicans and Democrats.

1. I remember evidence
Maybe if we all post what we remember, we'll get them all. I watched it twice and didn't take notes!!! The Republicans was something like ideology and attacks and something else. Their ideology is that they're entitled to be in office and we feel thankful for the opportunity to serve.

But I do remember a joke from his 1992 speech. We're not tired, we're not lazy, we're just BUSHED!!

Bushwhacker emoticon please!!!

2. I know I loved that too
“They believe in government by ideology, enemies and attack,” Clinton told the activists under dreary skies at the 26th annual Steak Fry and fund-raiser for U.S. Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa.

I can't find any more at this hour but I am sure the other half will be available in the morn.

and also I wanted to say "the activists?" I guess anyone who listens to a politician or a gathering of them is now an "activist" too. Hmm.

6. shameless bump
thanks for coming up with the three things republicans believe in "ideology, enemies and attack". But what were the three things for Dems? I wanna use it as a talking point.

and I loved the "we fall in love with our candidates, they just fall in line." (Which could be explained by looking at their candidates!)

3. President Clinton also said:
'the democrats fall in love with their candidates which is great, but the difference with the republicans, when it's critical and needed, they fall in line.'

I very well understand this. My repig family, good or bad, they are republicans and will vote republican even if the devil himself will sink our nation.

4. Always the ultimate 'diplomat' but a fierce 'thinker.'
I remember that he said we don't have treat them (the Republicans) like they treat us, the Dems. Just tell the American people who don't know the facts. I think he give the American people too much credit! They know the facts...most do give a damn. They want to be able to feel comfortable with their hatered and prejudices.

9. Will we be ablel to order a copy?
I was there and saw it in the hotel on CSpan, but we don't get that channel at home for me to record. :(
Wonder if Cspan lets you order copies like Oprah does.
