Actually, I am just as happy that he hasn't put his nose into this tragedy. However, there has been coverage in MSM and not just in Minnesota. The NY Times and even the Columbus Dispatch has had some coverage. CBS has had Bob McNamara on the scene the last couple of nights. on edit: He is a good choice for this story as he used to report for WCCO in the Twin Cities in the early 1970's. I don't sully my beautiful mind by watching FOX and I seldom watch CNN either. Overall, I would rather not have the microphone in the face coverage we have seen before. I think the tribal elders were wise to limit access to the general public. They are using their religious traditions and rites to cope and heal as best they can.

http://startribune.com/stories/156/5310064.html>I think there is a lesson here in how to face a tragedy with dignity. I can only regret that the fanatics surrounding Terry Shaivo's hospice do no have the same sense of dignity. People who are grieving and suffering do not need a bunch of curiosity seekers and assorted nut jobs in their faces.
As far as making a contribution, I could not find an online link, but there is an address as well as some other information in this article in the Duluth paper

I find all of this much more meaningful than a statement from the Imperial Chimpiness.
