So why are the repukes complaining about the "liberal federal judiciary" - its their judges...the dumb shits....

2. because even Republican judges don't always rule the way they want
they want to be able to steam roll what ever legislation they want without judicial opposition, however illegal it may be.

They can't stand the fact that the courts often stop them from tearing up the constitution

a result of the LAW AND ECONOMICS movement which was to dilute union power, consumer rights and usery laws. Other judges were nominated as a result of the pro-life movement. Reagan and Bush 1 were more interested in the LAW AND ECONOMICS movement because they wanted to concentrate wealth and get rid of pesky unions, consumer protections and other laws of the like.

Bush II has had a pro-life litmus test even though he denies it. That's why you see so many contradictions in this matter.

so they arent the same kind of conservative as we have today, so dont really count with the post reagan judges
