If the courts all say no, and the Florida Senate has roadblocks
What is the next course of action?
I pick a couple of scenarios.
1. Jeb will call Adult Protective Services and have them assume custody of Terri.
2. Jeb will have her taken into federal custody.
3. One of Michaels children will be kidnapped and held for ransom.
Payment being turning over custody of Terri.

Y'all know they aren't going to stop until they get what they want, and I fear they will stop at nothing.
:(

2. Florida Legislature
Is going to try to pass another bill to put the tube back in. From what I understand there isn't a lot of support for it.

11. florida legislature isn't stupid
In the 2000 census, over 20 percent of the Florida population was 62 or older; compare that to Texas, where the 62 and older group makes up less than 12 percent of the population.

A lot of folks in Florida have first hand experience with the stress and struggle of deciding whether or not to continue medical care, both for themselves or for family members. They've seen people die after removing tubes etc. And they don't appreciate being told by the government that they are "killers".

5. I think the repukes want Terri to die
Seriously - this is all pandering to those religious nutbags who helped pay for their elections. Now when we call these repukes "murderers" (aka the war), they'll just flash pictures of Terri and rave about how they tried to save her.

And by then the public will have forgotten that Terri was pretty much a vegetable.

I can see Frist & Delay starting office pools to bet on when she'll die!

9. Well, to be honest there are those who have genuine concern about it
and the CBC definately has an issue. But I highly doubt they would have called a special session to deal with it.

12. by then
They think she can talk, eat and enjoy fresh air now. By then they'll claim she was trying out for American Idol, but the activist judges and her husband wouldn't let her.

7. I am concerned that some violence will be done
to Michael Sciavo, or his family. Seriously concerned.

"I want you to just let a wave of intolerance wash over you. I want you to let a wave of hatred wash over you. Yes, hate is good ... if a Christian voted for Clinton, he sinned against God. It's that simple. Our goal is a Christian nation. We have a biblical duty, we are called by God to conquer this country... former leader of Operation Rescue Randall Terry

Randall Terry, as I understand it, has the approval of the Schindler family to be a spokesperson in this cause.

8. The morning news reported that the Schindlers will appeal
the Supreme Court again, which has already turned them down once. Let's hope that Terri takes her final breathe before then.
