Okay, since the Repukes are so concerned about the "Sanctity of Life"
Let's ask all our Repuke Senators and Representatives (especially those in Texas) to "hold an emergency session" and repeal that law that George W. Bush signed in 1999, which allows the hospitals and doctors to pull the plug on the life support for a patient who cannot pay their bills, er, "has little or no hope of improvement"!

Shouldn't that uphold the "sanctity of life" that they are screaming about?

George W. Bush killed Sun Hudson!

1. nah
That law is a states right issue because it deals with the poor who can't pay for life extending treatment.

Houston woman continues fight to keep husband alive

03:37 PM CST on Friday, March 18, 2005

From 11 News Staff Reports

HOUSTON -- From Florida to Houston, judges have been struggling this week with a fundamental issue of life versus death.

Spiro Nikolouzos is in a chronic vegetative state at St. Luke's Hospital here in Houston. Doctors think his life support should be removed.

St. Luke's Hospital said its ethics committee decided further care would be futile and inhumane.

His wife isn't ready to give up. She was back in court again Friday trying to prevent the hospital from removing him from a respirator.
