"Culture of Life"...my ass.
Schiavo must be saved, but Jessica's killer must fry.

Fetuses must be saved, but who gives a shit about unwanted black babies (see recent news about our exporting of black orphans to foreign parents).

A "culture of life" must be formed, but then global warming is just a myth and ANWAR must be drilled.

Terrorism must be stopped to prevent loss of life, but then we bomb the fuck out of Iraqis who HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH TERRORISM.

The Middle East must be reformed in the context of a modern day Crusade to save lives, but then thousands dying in Africa are ignored.

1. and use DU on everyone including the troops so everyone gets sick and dies
but we can't sue doctors for malpractice or wrongful death and we can't sue if a manufacturer kills us or maims us for life, and if medical expenses eat up your entire life savings you can't then declare bankruptcy, and we must discontinue food programs for the poor (LET THEM STARVE!)

6. By "DU", you mean "Depleted Uranium", don't you?
Just wanted to clarify that.

10. Yes.
It's unfortunate that our forum and depleted uranium are abbreviated the same way.

2. Kill the trees and the dolphins and polute our air and water.
Ignore the insane, let them become homeless. Ignore the homeless, let them freeze and starve to death. Ignore the working poor who cannot afford medical care.

3. "Culture of life" appears to surpass dignity, marital rights, and
recognition of a better hereafter (Heaven, anyone?) among these so-called Christians. Why is "life" always paramount? If this were true, they wouldn't be so eager to kill through war, death penalties, and neglect. Their "pro-life" stance is only when it suits them politically.

4. So true and so sad. They are pro-fetal life, and pro any situation that
can gain them brownie points with the Radical Clerics of the "Christian Right." Our very own version of the Taliban right here at home. They conveniently ignored the removal of the breathing tube of the little Black infant in Chicago, was it? Not a peep, not a protest. Geez, wonder why not??

5. It's in line with Rapture Right thinking.
Schiavo - thou shalt not kill - even if life is artificially sustained, against the wishes of that person, who lives a miserable life in limbo.
Abortion - again - thou shalt not kill - even if it is a cluster of cells in a womb that will become a human, born into the world unwanted, with perils and suffering.
Those unwanted black babies - the Lord doesn't give you any trial you can't withstand, right?
Global warming - pollution, extinction of species - well, the END TIME is near, right? Let's use it all up - famine and pestilence are in the Good Book of Revelation, besides.
The Middle East - the only way we can save those poor Muslim souls so that the Lord will call them to Heaven is to convert them to our ways. Those who fight us are agents of Satan and the Lord will have wrath upon them. Didn't they learn from the Crusades? Such a pity.
As for those thousands dying in Africa - refer to what was previously said. The Lord doesn't give you any hardship you can't withstand!
Amen! Praise the Lord and pass the bucket of KFC!

9. Bring on the Rapture, I say. The world needs a break from crazy fundies.
Personally, I would welcome some divine intervention in ridding this planet of the stupid fundies, who throughout history have brought misery, ideological warfare, racism, homophobia, mysogynostic thinking, and other backwards asses "Anti-Enlightenment" consequences.

Imagine a world of educated reason only...brings tears to the eyes.
