A government of con men,by con men and for con men: A new saying
by Abe Klatoo. In every area of our life,it seems like the place is crawling with con men starting right at the top. There is a coward, who passed up an opportunity for serving the country, now poses the Churchill of a new era.He has his two Sancho Panzas,Rumsfeld and Cheney, not merely cowards, but corporate con artists who have enriched themselves at every turn by using the public's money and trust. There are numerous senators, congressman, judges, media manipulators, all working in tandem, as though being led by a conductor,to say only what the big men want to hear and attack the truth at every turn.

It is not just the War that has been concocted out of whole cloth but the ruin of our whole economy that imperils our livelihoods, lays waste to the aspirations of our young, devastates the old in their golden years and crushes our industry, like the automotive and other mainstays of our economy, that I am talking about.

It is as though the saying those whom the Gods wish to destroy, they first make mad, has now come to apply to us.

1. Not surprising
Considering 1 in 24 people are sociopaths and something like 96 percent of people are on auto pilot when following "leaders(Stanford experiment)

could be non-sociopath babies who got abused and warped that way - so they are incapable of healthy behaviour towards others and end up in jail often. I think it is 1 in 4 prisoners who are sociopaths. The other 3 prisoners are likely anti-socials with a few patsies thrown in. IMHO.

5. Abuse does not cause
a person to have NO guilt,no consience,no shame. And need lots of stimulation, and see others as means to an end.

a person with a consience can feel love.Even if it's only tword a pet, A consience is the factor here, feeling for a pet they care about and would feel guilty if they hurt it..

a sociopath can't feel that twords anything.

But a sociopath can FAKE that compassion to get away with something or use someone to win a game.

Big difference. If you look at it this way.

6. I am saying that I do not think all anti-social personalities feel no love
I am saying I think your numbers are wrong. Anti-social does not mean sociopathic. It does not mean that the person as no feelings. It just means they are a bad apple. Your 1 in 25 statistics denote anti-socials who can be sociopathic or non-sociopathic.

I think we must agreed on sociopaths being evil & remorseless and unfeeling.

I just think you use the numbers on the anti-socials and assume that is a synonym with sociopaths when it is not.

8. 1 in 24
people have NO guilt or shame inside when they deliberatly hurt or exploit someone else.( be it physically, emotionally, verbally, sexually or finanicially ect.) They know what they do is wrong but they don't care...they do it anyways.

That is my definition if sociopath and the stats I gave on this definition of a sociopath are correct.

9. I read the article in Psychology Today in Feb and said: 1 in 4!!!!
Edited on Fri Mar-18-05 12:59 AM by applegrove
Then I read where she had said they were anti-social.

If you have ever come across a real sociopath... you would not mix the two. 3/4 of people in jail are anti-social or very used. Only 1/4 are sociopathic and they are part of the anti-social group.

One of these things that you really, really, do not want to experience the 'difference' of. Trust me. You do not want to go there. She says something like 1/25 are cold, cold hearted. But the sociopaths... now that 1/100 is a category you do not want to be in on... unless you are on the job buddy. One sociopath could be scary... another could be unbelievably manipulative..so manipulative that you get scared and spend the rest of your days living in a shoe or something. I'm talking like mind-numbing scary.... The 1/100 who are sociopaths are a whole variety of very, very, very, scary people.

3. Nothing neo in their con game. Looting is old as the hills.
I agree, we need to take off the neo. They are just tired old shopworn past their sell by date cons.

7. Yes I think corporations have... er... a little bit of a problem in that
regard. But great information on sociopaths is being published these days. Humans will win in the end... oh - yes.. it will be so.
