"Activist" Democrats???

When democrats even MENTION redistricting, we are "activist democrats", but when Tom Delay HIJACKS the Texas legislature and KIDNAPS the democratic representatives, he's NOT being "activist"??

The troll from Roll Call just called democrats in Illinois activists because they were thinking about redistricting..

I just wish we would redistrict the whole country...all at the same time. Let a computer just "grid" the whole country and let the chips fall where they may.. I am sick to death of the gerrymandering ON BOTH sides that allows ineffective incumbents to sit on their asses year after year just putting in their time for their pension and "cushy jobs" after they quit..

We NEED to shake things up and give ordinary people a chance to unseat some of these dinosaurs..

It's realy high time too that we actually increase the number of congresspeople. We have a much larger population now that we did when the arbitrary number of 435 was devised. ..

1. This doesn't get enough attention...

I believe (as I think you do) that gerrymandering is one of the most serious problems we have in this country, politically.

This is the main reason (even more so than the campaign-money issue) that it's so god damn hard to unseat an incumbent at almost any level.
