4. I have 3 sons. 23, 19 & 14.
This is tearing me up. My heart goes out to all the families robbed by this heartless, murderous regime.

5. Imagine how I feel. I have one son, almost 6 - American, but half Arabic
Smart (he wants to be an architect to design buildings that jump away from threats)
Sweet (he loves his Mommy, oh, yes he does)
A leader (he talks sense into the "bad" kindergartners so they will behave so the whole class can get ice cream)

And, yet, he's the most endangered in our society. The only thing he has working for him is that he lives in a red state.

*sigh*

3. A grim point in a tawdry and infinitely sad time
in the nation's and the world's history - bless each and every one of them - they have died in vain.

7. How many deaths will it take till he knows that too many people have died
When will we learn?

Blowin' in the Wind

How many roads must a man walk down
Before you call him a man?
Yes, ’n’ how many seas must a white dove sail
Before she sleeps in the sand?
Yes, ’n’ how many times must the cannon balls fly
Before they’re forever banned?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind,
The answer is blowin’ in the wind.

How many times must a man look up
Before he can see the sky?
Yes, ’n’ how many ears must one man have
Before he can hear people cry?
Yes, ’n’ how many deaths will it take till he knows
That too many people have died?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind,
The answer is blowin’ in the wind.

How many years can a mountain exist
Before it’s washed to the sea?
Yes, ’n’ how many years can some people exist
Before they’re allowed to be free?
Yes, ’n’ how many times can a man turn his head,
Pretending he just doesn’t see?
The answer, my friend, is blowin’ in the wind,
The answer is blowin’ in the wind.

8. I heard this on AAR
It's so depressing. Yup, winning the war and hearts and minds alright. I wish there was something we can do. But we're powerless.
