So....How high up does Gan/Gurk go? Who was he "servicing" in the WH?
Edited on Fri Feb-25-05 09:00 PM by KoKo01
I post this to those DU'ers who have been reading ALL the BLOGs and are "up-to-date" as to where "Gannongate" is in "discovery" right now.

The usual suspects would be Rove or even the P-Res. But who else could it be? If one goes back to Poppy/Reagan's time...it could be the Pentagon...because of the Escort Scandal back then.

As I said. I only post this for those who are familiar with all of it from reading til their eyes roll out of their heads. I didn't post all the links because I'm looking for replies from those who KNOW all the links, background of the whole BFEE..

Who could it be? And, is it someone we aren't even suspecting at this point...and why?

1. Karen Hughes should be investigated--or, on edit, not....
Edited on Fri Feb-25-05 09:18 PM by tjdee
on edit: Hughes was long gone by 2003, the first surfacing of Gannon, I think.... who took over her responsibilities there?

In a post here, it was revealed that she had something to do with press pass dealings (fuzzy memory, hopefully it will be posted again).

IMO, if they are pressed to tell WHO authorized JimmyJeff's pass, then we get into the good stuff.

For me, the main people are McClellan and Hughes. Eh, LOL, not that he was servicing Hughes, but that someone backed him up so she'd allow access (if that info posted was correct).

I don't think Georgie is bright enough, nor do I think I go for the Gosch segueway.

7. It's fascinating that Karen Hughes got "cut out." Condi seems to be his
"mentor" and "soul soother" these days. What's up with that. She cut out early in his Administration...saying it was "family problems" because her son didn't like DC schools...but he kept bringing her back.

I'm thinking that Hughes was SMART like Ari and decided that "others" had taken control of the "Chimp" and being smart/savy they "opted out early" so as not to let the "taint" get to them.

2. I agree, he had to be involved sexually with someone to get the job he
had with those credentials. It really appears to be a no brainer.

3. I think McClellan or Rove.
But then again, he was in the room when Ari Flescher was Press Sec. so? Perhaps it's him.

I look forward to finding out how he got daily access.

4. McClellan
He smiles, his eyes twinkle and sparkle, he grins like a teenager in love every time he says the word "Jeff...!" Oooooh, Jeff, GO AHEAD!!!

If it ain't love, it's lust!

6. I also think that McClellan's nervousness
speaks volumes. Perhaps, it's Scotty.

8. I know...but he's kind of "low level." I think it goes higher...but
Scotty could be "Da'Man." He might have "nudged Fletcher out" and maybe Ari wanted out...so it was easy...just so Scotty could get his "guy" into the Press Pool.

But, who gave the okay...higher up to allow Gannon to over-ride the FBI Clearance? Could Scotty have done that on his own?

And, WHO would have hooked Scotty up with Gan/Gurk in the first place...Scotty has "other connections" then that lead higher and farther up and out.

9. Wayne Madsen shows that it could be Pentagon/CIA because of
groups like "The Finders" and connections to the Lincoln S&L Nebraska scandal (pedophiles). This kind of stuff is yuck...may also explain the SF Presidio military intelligence Michael Aquino incident, too. The whole 'plausible denial' ability with such weird and scary characters lets the whole thing just melt away because of the unseemliness of what is 'background'.

Intelligence ? You've gotta be kidding, right ?

15. It seems to go way back. J. Edgar Hoover instituted a group at FBI...
then you had Donovan and the rest at the CIA. This stuff has been going on since WWII ..but it seems to be WWII aftermath and the "Cold War" that entrenched began the "shadow government." Cold War is probably where it started.

This whole administration goes back to then and it's a dynasty with sons taking over for fathers, and cousins and brothers and uncles...etc...and the Think Tanks and the Ivy League's and the "Secret Societies."

Neither, Johnson, Clinton, Carter or Nixon belonged to this. And, neither did Jack Kennedy because his family wasn't accepted being "Irish" even though they made money and ran with the "American Aristocracy." I'm simplifying too much...but just not to make a long post...and for those who know what I'm talking about.

So...it could be the Military...a prime place for intrigue with Gan/Gurk who was trading off his "Bulldog" stuff and his contacts were military.
I just wonder if a "Pentagon Lover" would have given him the access he got..or if it really goes more into the White House.

10. beginning to think Lewis "Scooter" Libby
maybe I am a bad researcher, but every bio I find fails to mention a wife or family.
Add to that his history, his bizarre personality, and his involvement with Plame, I think it may be him.

17. We haven't even heard "Scooter's" name mention in a looooong time
have we? Maybe you're onto something. Haven't seen his name over in the "Kos Research" or anywhere else...yet he was prominent in the early days when the Plame story broke. Where the hell is he? So quiet...I'd forgotten about him as a "power person."

Remember a few months ago the topic on DU was, who was Bush winking at during the press conference? Well, now we know. He was winking at Bulldog.

but not Rove himself, unless this is a trap. He's too smart to take a chance on somebody like JimJeff.

being close to anyone except Chimp and his Repug Contacts who run the "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy." He must lead a very isolated life with so many afraid of him. Wouldn't Gan/Gurt maybe be a "break" from his isolation? Or, maybe he's really happily married..and it's someone else?
