O.M.G. Check out the B.S. on the new Gannon er .. uhm Guckert blog.
:puke:

"I feel badly for my colleagues who became the target of these same people on the Left who harshly chastised them for allowing a traitor operate among them. How could they stand idly by while Jeff Gannon breached the ideological barrier that kept conservatives out of the White House briefing room?

The well-funded liberal attack machine, Media Matters, filled with operatives from the DNC and failed Democratic campaigns incited activist bloggers to wage a full-scale jihad against me. All sorts of personal information about me, including my Social Security number was published on the Internet. Threats against me as well as my family led to my voluntary resignation in the belief that would bring it to an end, but the bloggers were aiming for my total destruction.

They dug deep for dirt, dredging up things long past and erecting a fantasy world worthy of a Vince Flynn novel. What they found is domain names and sexy pictures from which sprung rumors and conspiracy theories. Based on some of the emails I’ve received, many of these people were conflicted with hatred for my politics and tingling they experienced while viewing pictures said to be me.

Criticism of my work and my journalistic background is fair game, but the intensive scrutiny into my personal life, especially things from the past have startled many in the journalistic community. Now Democrats in Congress are demanding that the White House do more thorough investigation into the personal lives and sexual histories of reporters. Is this what they want, to give the Bush administration a mandate to make this kind of information relevant to the vetting process for journalists? What kind of reaction would there have been if the White House has announced such a plan two months ago?"

Uhm Jeff, your past included CURRENT websites cruising for paid dates. "Bulldog" "Jeff" James, you only removed yourself from one site noting your services, about 3 months ago. This was certainly NOT your past, it was your present, and you are a total lying hypocrite. Which is par for the Republican course.

You really must read the entire diatribe to get the full nauseating effect.

http://jeffgannon.com/fear_and_loathing_in_the_press_r.htm

Oh and get this, "Jeff" is still cruising the net for money, this time he's looking for pity donations:

Your support is appreciated.

As you might expect, recent developments have left me without an income, but I am determined not to allow that to keep me from speaking out.

Your kind messages of prayer and encouragement have sustained me since this all began, and I am hoping you will consider a donation to keep my voice from going silent.

This is an excellent opportunity to fight back against the well-funded attack machine of the Left.

3. Why am I not surprised?
1) Attempt to move attention away from the real issues.
2) Obscure or lie about the facts.
3) Play the victim.
4) Appeal to the right's religious base.
5) Ask for more money.

Yup, he's a Republican. :)

7. "... dredging up things long past and ERECTING a fantasy world ..."
Edited on Fri Feb-25-05 07:53 PM by Straight Shooter
Is this man capable of keeping double entendres out of his language? Could he not have used the word "constructing," or "building," or "making"? As in his recent interview, about the White House, "They asked me to come, and I came."

Hey, Jiffy-Lube Jeff, we could no sooner keep your voice silent than we could get george bush to act rationally.

Now, if you'll excuse me, it's time for me to erect dinner.

8. Dis-reality alive and living in the 'handling' or Gannon.
Paragraph A:
"They dug deep for dirt, dredging up things long past and erecting a fantasy world worthy of a Vince Flynn novel."

Fantasy world - who is digging up a fantasy world...no one is saying anything like Gannon practices mediumship.

Paragraph B:
"....but the intensive scrutiny into my personal life, especially things from the past have startled many in the journalistic community..."

Now that sounds like he is admitting to the startling life.

Does he not shut up because they are trying to cleanse him with dis-reality? Are we experiencing a constantly changing realtity that they promised us?

Or does he not shut up because he seeks adoration and a rolling 15 minutes of fame?

16. MSM empowered bloggers, i'm sick to death of hearing negative
comments about blogging. If the MSM did their job, there wouldn't be an us v. them situation.

So as long as they continue with their interpretation of the news thinking it's "real" news and that all people that watch news want fluff, the stronger the blogging movement will become.

As far as gannon needing money, he is familer with making $1,200 a weekend.
