Little known facts about Free Republic
Did you that:

George Soros is mentioned over 5000 times in Free Republic.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=%22george+soros%22+site%3Afreerepublic.com
But, his counterpart, Richard Mellon Scaife is only mentioned 133 times.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=%22richard+mellon+scaife%22+site%3Afreerepublic.com

Secretive Groups get mentioned too

Illuminati - 431 times
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=illuminati+site%3Afreerepublic.com

Council for National Policy - 16 times, and almost always it is referred to in a positive way

2. KORN? Hah - I ran into something more bizarre than that
On one of the few occasions when I could stomach a visit there, there was a thread about the underground cartoonist S. Clay Wilson. You know - of 'Captain Pissgums' fame? I was fucking floored that there were fans of Wilson in such a narrow minded community. Though, I'm sure if some of the other posters knew anything, whatsoever, about Wilson that there would've been a major purge of the rolls.

12. Actually,
Wilson would fit in pretty well over there. He's misogynist, homophobic, selfish and paranoid.

3. Free Republic:
Where more than half the population is below average intelligence, but they disagree that that's possible.

4. Also, they have an unhealthy obsession with the Dixie Chicks
Back when I used to go there (long story), all I'd see was thread after thread after thread, all bitching about "the Dixie Chicks say this" and "the Dixie Chicks do that!"

I had never even heard of the Dixie Chicks. I'd bet money that neither had most of the people on freerepublic--till they heard that the Dixie Chicks said something against Bush/war/dictatorship, and suddenly began practically stalking them.

I wonder if the Dixie Chicks ever sent them a check for all the publicity work they did!

5. If you try to search that site for how many mentions of "Hillary"
your computer will probably explode.

6. It's always been my belief that freepers hold some repressed sexual
fantasies involving Bill and Hillary. They have way too deep a fixation on that family.

8. It might just be their favorite subject!
What's really funny is that now, as Hillary has (for some no doubt politically Machiavellian reason) adopted some stances that the freepers agree with, they will soon begin singing her praises. They are truly a nation of sheep.

11. Unlikely
Once their teeny brains are programmed to hate someone, hate they do.
They never forgive anyone.

Jane Fonda is still high on their shitlist despite becoming a born-again Christian.
