Its in the right-hand column. Amazing in its sliminess. My prediction: It will backfire on them horribly.

Ain't hubris a bitch!

1. What a bunch of slimy con men!
Senior citizens are the enemy now?

WTF?!

<snip>
The lobbying group, USA Next, which has poured millions of dollars into Republican policy battles, now says it plans to spend as much as $10 million on commercials and other tactics assailing AARP, the powerhouse lobby opposing the private investment accounts at the center of Mr. Bush's plan.

'They are the boulder in the middle of the highway to personal savings accounts,' said Charlie Jarvis, president of USA Next and former deputy under secretary of the interior in the Reagan and first Bush administrations. 'We will be the dynamite that removes them.'

4. I'm not sure it will backfire.
I've already seen LTTE's in my local paper criticizing the AARP for being a "for profit", liberal organization.

Oh, the irony of thieves complaining that someone is "for profit".

<head explodes>

5. This one? Talk about out of step with the real world, Wow do
they devert and lie.........AARP doesn't have anything to do with gays and I'm sure many of the members have grandkids in the troops...what a bunch or creeps, I hope AARP doesn't fold this time, last time they did, they lost allot of membership, hope they learned their lesson, that the majority are not with the Republican agenda...

7. This is Ridiculous
It is completely wrong to put some commerical out like this about the AARP. This is a group that help retired veterans. The soldiers who serve in the military now get old and are helped by the AARP. The AARP has never spoke against the soldiers.
