PHOTO: I wonder what brilliant, snarky comment accompanied this shot?
Edited on Mon Feb-21-05 03:40 PM by Bluebear

US President George W. Bush makes remarks at the Concert Noble Ballroom in Brussels.

He usually only strikes this facial tic when he thinks he is smarter than everyone else in the room.

P.S.....One wishes this ballroom had been set up for the climactic scene of "The Phantom of the Opera".

1. How bizarre -
Do this - place your hand over half of his face, then the other. The expressions of each half are completely different - as if he's two different people. :scared:

2. He certainly must not make that face often. He's rarely smarter than
anyone.

5. You fell for his act too?
He's dangerous. Don't help the Radical RW lower expectations, please.

NGU.

3. You can always see when he thinks he's saying something
that the public will regard as "smart" or "wise" or "common sense" or "holy" or whatever Rove's atmospherics are.

4. It was just after he said "contiguous."
The smirk was when he was thinking, "look Daddy, I learned a new word."

6. I'm looking for anyone who saw video of his "I won" election acceptance

speech Nov. 3 evening . . . . ?

I saw only a few seconds of it after a few tequilas, so I'm doing a reality check on what I remember.

Or was that 3 a.m.?

7. My bet is he made another 'me' joke that was funny only to him
He gets that look when he thinks he has just pulled a funny, imo. You have only to look at the photo and you can just hear that imbecilic laugh of his.
