The audacity of these bastards. We have Jeff Gannon jr. now.

Jeff Gannon Jr.
According to the transcript of today’s White House Briefing, a “reporter” named John had this Gannon-like intro to his question:

Q You talked about sanctions against Iran if they don’t comply with dismantling their nuclear energy program. Sanctions, in the past, have proven to be a joke – that they didn’t work against Iraq…

Of course, according to the administration’s handpicked weapons inspector, David Kay, that’s untrue:

“Iraq’s large-scale capability to develop, produce, and fill new chemical weapon munitions was reduced - if not entirely destroyed - during Operations Desert Storm and Desert Fox, 13 years of UN sanctions and UN inspections.”

Gannon leaves, and is magically replaced with GannonBot Mark II (or is it KinsolvingBot Mark III?). From the gaggle:

Q Does this administration believe the Democratic leaders are now engaged in a deliberate disinformation campaign as the best way to undermine the President's goals and objectives on a number of issues?

MR. McCLELLAN: A deliberate?

Q Yes.

MR. McCLELLAN: We would certainly hope not. The President has made it very clear that he wants to reach out and work together on our shared priorities. That's what he's going to continue to do.

So far I've been unable to determine who Scotty's new suppository is. If anyone knows...

5. Sanctions against Iraq didn't work?
Wow, maybe this crackerjack "reporter" can point us to all of those WMD's that Saddam was able to develop in spite of the sanctions.

7. "WMD's that Saddam was able to develop"
While ignoring all of the money Cheney was able to make "in spite of the sanctions". Rewriting history books as we speak.

10. Karl made sure he explained to 'son of Gannon'
that when he says he wants him to "whore for bush" he meant it in journalistic terms only, not sexual.:puke:

11. They turn around & do it again with a new face...

They are so above-the-rules, it's sickening! I hope their smug, in-your-face arrogance becomes their undoing.

I hope someone gets the scoop on this new plant & that Scottie gets taken down a notch or two.

As for the petulantly worded statement in the form of a question,

Q Does this administration believe the Democratic leaders are now engaged in a deliberate disinformation campaign as the best way to undermine the President's goals and objectives on a number of issues?

It's the same old tactic of this administration: projection, projection, projection. Whatever is their weakness (in this case, "deliberate disinformation campaign") is what they accuse their enemies of, which tells me the WH is behind this odd "questioning".
