attacked in cyberspace.

I wish I could email everyone privately on DU and tell them to go to this website. These people are nuts, mean, cruel, pro Reagan, lying, self-proclaimed Christians (or so they claim to be the latter).

It's called "True Conservatism" on ezboard. They advertise (when you do a search) that EVERYONE is welcome; libs as well as sheepels (the new name someone came up with on RR for the Repugnant right. Sheepels because they are like the blind following the deaf; really, really dumb; and blind).

Anyway, I "had" (keyword) a board or 2 or 3 on ezboard. I've deleted them now because of what happened this past week.

True Conservatism has a forum on their board for anyone who wants to promote their community board. So I did. I explained mine was open for debate from the right as well, but it is a very left-leaning site. The owner of the board emailed me a nasty email which made no sense to me. I IM'd her back and was not rude at all but told her I did not appreciate what she had said to me and it was uncalled for.

Since I am an ezboard Global (doesn't cost anything) user, that means I can go on any board and read and post comments. Well, True Conservatism had a thread going that I thought I could put my 2-cents in. No sooner had I done that then this person posted after me to just ignore me because I was a stalker. A stalker???? I then responded in kind and told them obviously Dems are not welcome on this board as it is advertised. That they use that ad as a guise to get some Dems there just so they can call them names and be really immature about everything. She then posted to the board that I had sent her a lot of IM's and was just not right in the head (another lie). Needless to say, I was outraged, posted what I thought (never using one bad word to get my point across), then left the board.

Suddenly, my main board was getting hit after hit after hit. Now true Conservative has over 4000 members (I think). And they were obviously the right's example of what sheepal are. I think she emailed them all and called for an attack on my boards. I'm not kidding. They were trying to post so much on my board that my bandwidth would be waaay overboard and I would get charges. That is why I had to take my boards down and block anyone from posting or joining any of my boards.

So if anyone is interested in covert actions, (like all 60,000+ DU's posting on that site)--(I can dream can't I) PM me here, and I'll give you the URL.

Oh yeah, they have a "I Wish I could be more like Ann Coulter" board. If that's not enough to get your attention, I do not know what is.

I feel so bad for you. :( These people are just nuts. To keep my head from pounding I stay away from boards like that where there's debates. I wish I knew something to do.

boards back up. I could contact the administrators but guess what (tick, tick, tick, tick, tick) . . . give up? She admits to being an IT person and kind of hinted that she works for this company and so does her hubby.

I'm losing money too because I paid to have an upgraded board. I should've just burned that $30.

2. Sheeple is spelled "Sheeple"

And BTW it is NOT new. I can't remember who coined the phrase, but it has been around for a long time. Sheeple is for "sheep" Thought you might like to know:)

so Sheeple should end "ple". Thanks.

Also, they were talking about the term on Randi Rhodes just last Friday like it was a brand new thing. That is why I thought it was new. My bad.
