These people are about as conservative as you will find. They loathed John Kerry and the rest of the modern day Democratic party with a passion.

They see Shrub as an equal, they can relate to him. The same thing flies with Jimmy Carter. They see him as a regular guy from the peanut fields of Georgia and not the coasts of Nantucket.

Anyway, I just thought it was ironic to see them support (half-way) any Democrat...
