3. The Whole Speech Was Ripe For Rebuttal !!!
But when you have Democratic Congress Critters, climbing over each other to get on camera while shaking the Fuhrer's hand...

I have very little hope...

5. Because you realize that for the last four years
the Democrats have hardly acted as an opposition party. Instead they have pretty
much given Bush everything he wanted, including a war on a sovereign nation without provocation.

7. Because it's mostly a bunch of double talk
Bullshit. Trying to appease the Democrats while sucking up to the repiglithugs at the same time.

With rare exception here n there.

10. Yeah... And This Time...
It didn't attack the rePukes in any significant way, yet insulted many Democrats\Progessives\Leftists in ways that mortally injure the soul.

12. Because it was lame?
Lame and weak-kneed. Like usual.

WTH will it take to get a Dem with some BALLS to say it like it is?????

Barbara Boxer's on CNN right now and she's rebutting the SS lies, but I guess I'm in a mood because even she sounds like she's being conciliatory.

Chimpass does that to me.  :puke: :puke:

14. I cared at first.
I looked forward to the response by Reid. Unfortunately, it was pretty much anti-climatic after the first word out of his mouth. Talk about boring. I hope I missed something that others got. Maybe I'm just being too critical.

18. Here's why
Because you, my friend, realize that with very few exceptions (see Boxer, Barbara) the Democrats are a bunch of spineless wimps right now. After all these years, they still haven't learned the meaning of "opposition party."

I think Bush must be slipping the kool-aid into the Capitol.
