a stunning upset in iraq elections
Edited on Sun Jan-30-05 03:01 PM by ooglymoogly
an enthusiastic cheering *nn is reporting a stunning and nearly unbelievable turnaround in th iraq election. george w. bush who was not on the ballot won handily , if you disreguard the exit pols which are useless anyway, over all other aspirants to the office of presidency. there was confusion at the ballot as diebold machines which had been so successful in us elections, turned out vote after vote for mr. bush. iraqi citizens were seen scratching their heads in puzzlement. when asked for a comment mr. bush said he was not surprised by this curious turn of events and that it was clear he had a huge mandate and would soon be moving into iran where similar elections would be held and ominously ...."there would be more to come" hinting that new elections might be held around the world because that is clearly what the people of the world want...when asked if there would be a recount the provisional govt said behind the heavily guarded fortress of the green zone that the people had spoken and those voices shouting for the recount should just get over it, and if they persist should report to abu graib ministry for voter fraud complaints. it was noted by a reporter that shredding machines were quickly being shipped into abu graib where long lines were forming, but as many were going in nobody was coming out....stay tuned more to come

3. I'm still expecting Osama Bin Laden to win on a write-in campaign
Maybe Sadam will be his running-mate.
