Senator Kerry: Thank you, thank you, thank you. I know you have been through the wringer a lot over the last few months, but I can't tell you how proud I am of you and Senator Boxer for your stand against Dr. Rice as Secretary of State. This administration, truth be told, frightens me and severely needs a group to hold them accountable. I know that the main stream media isn't giving this the coverage it deserves, but PLEASE continue to hold this administration's actions in the light for those of us that are watching. Also, thank you for visiting our troops. Please do what you can to bring them home as soon as possible. I'm sickened that so many are dying for Mr. Bush's greed and mistakes.

11. I won't congratulate him either

Just because he voted no? He threw softballs at Rice. He didn't do his duty in trying to effect the vote by throwing softballs. BOXER deserves my congratulations but not Kerry.

14. Here's what I don't get.

When the electoral college contest was occurring, everyone was pissed that, while some senators spoke against the vote, all except Boxer voted against the contest. Now, when Kerry puts his vote where his mouth is, he's not to be recognized for it because he didn't ask tough questions?? I'd take a vote against Condi with no questions before a Yes vote for Condi but a bunch of questions (Biden).

is to draw out the truth and to help sway the other members to vote correctly. Part of Kerry's responsibility is to CONVINCE the other members to vote his way. You don't convince people very well with softballs.

Here's my message

Dear Senator Kerry:

I would like to thank you for having the courage and the conviction to vote against the confirmation of Dr. Condoleeza Rice for Secretary of State.

To my mind every person who engineered this debacle in Iraq should have been fired. Instead we see them promoted or given "Congressional Medals of Freedom". This is a farce. If people weren't dying it would be hilarious.

Some may say that this is simply symbolic but frankly, sometimes symbols are important. Many of the people who supported you for President are angry, disillusioned and disgusted. We need to see our leaders take unequivocal stands on matters of principle.

Once again, sir, thank you.
