Not one dime is a nice thought, but what if everybody didn't go to work that day?

Could that many people be fired? or ignored?

1. My company is privately/employee owned

small company 95% democrats/progressives, solid blue city in a blue state. The owner/CEO is a stereotypical NY Jewish liberal is the best sense of the word (donates to a lot of good causes, offers us great benefits, including same-sex partner benefits, etc), and she's probably never voted Republican in her life.

Not likely to do any good whatsoever, just eat up valuable sick/vacation days.

2. okay, everyone but employees of liberal NY Jewish small businesses

It might be too late to start this idea anyway.

At some point, a general strike could work, especially against corporate America.
