Will there be an inaugural hat?, asks the WaPo
I guess someone somewhere cares (poor them) The real news is that anyone could eek out TWO pages on Pickle's clothes.

The first lady has chosen a sophisticated and personal approach to her Inauguration Day wardrobe rather than kowtowing to tradition. Will there be an inaugural hat? "Negative on the hat," says her spokesman, Gordon Johndroe.

and the twins?

Each dress has a small train. And both young women, say the designers, are well aware of the perils of walking backward.

(having been to college and all)

3. walking backward is very hard for people who are always drunk!
Can the Drunken Shrub Twins wear those gowns with trains to Iraq when they go to join our kids and do their duty for Halliburton profits? Can't wait to hear if they plan to wear hats in Baghdad.

9. The trains might make the secret service guys' jobs easier
If the girls get drunk and start getting rowdy, the secret service guys can just stand on the trains so they can't go anywhere.

8. Incredible. 200 000 Tsunami victims, Fallujah a heap of rubble,
children starving all over the world and half of Africa dying from AIDS - and 95 lines about a *** dress of a *** First Lady.
:puke: I cannot for the life of me understand that they aren't the least little bit ashamed. I'm speaking of the so-called journalists, the Bushistas have left shame behind them long time ago.

Remember Fallujah!

11. Oh! I thought you were talking a hat to sell to the attendees!
Either a blue bandana with white stars all over it (like the "get a brain morans" guy wore) or a dunce cap would be fitting headgear for Bush's syncophants.
