Who exactly is committing treason here?
Edited on Sat Dec-25-04 10:58 PM by ck4829
If you read Osama's 'Letter to America', you will find out that Osama hates Separation of Religion from Politics, hates GLBT people, and thinks Bill Clinton is immoral.

Who agrees with Osama? (And thus, gives him and his henchmen comfort)

Is it the average Liberal/Progressive?

OR

Is it the average Regressive?

Pat Robertson deals with a Dictator who deals with Al Qaeda.

Wow, if Pat wasn't a Regressive, he would probably be in Gitmo by now.

Christian Reconstructionists such as RJ Rushdoony and Bob Enyart want to abolish Democracy.

Is this not treason?

George W. Bush has united, not divided, terrorists all over the world against America.

Is this not helping the enemy?

2. if Robertson is not THE anti-christ...
he is certainly ANTI Christ's teachings.

and I agree, the fundies are ideologically much more comfortable with their taliban bretheren than with the founding fathers of democracy.

3. Osama is the best thing to happen to George Bush, and vice versa
Both sides need and benefit from each other.

Neoconservative writings outright stated they needed a Perl Harbor type incident to get the public behind their foreign policy plans. Post 9/11, the Republicans were able to accomplish much of what they wanted to do pre-9/11, such as restrictions on civil liberties (in Patriot Act) and attacking Iraq.

Bush's response to 9/11 also has been great for al Qaeda'a recruitment, with al Qaeda operatives estimated to have tripled following the attack on Iraq.
