Bill Oreallly, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coutler - LOVE hate mail from Dems

I feel that people don't understand the dynamic at work with these sorts of media figures. They are trolls - they say offensive and outragous things to get a reaction. It hardly matters if the reaction is good or bad.

When Dems send falafels to Bill Oreally, rant about Rush Limbaugh, and freak out over Ann Coulter's latest threats - you are participating in the troll. You are being trolled, and responding the way they wish. Often it even makes liberals and Democrats seem as silly and petty as the GOP.

Michael Savage is a good example. Here is a gay man living in San Francisco, making millions trolling liberals. Every outrageous thing he says - and Democrat's outraged reactions to it - means more ratings and more money for him.

There is only one way to fight these people - ignore them.

I don't know if Michael Weiner is gay exactly - but I sure as hell knows he doesn't really believe a word he says, and he's laughing all the way to the bank. In a way (a dark, kind of nasty way) I really respect the guy. If I was offered millions to troll - I'm not sure I could turn it down.

The reason I hate these slime balls is because they are influential and clueless people take what they say as fact. That is why they are dangerous and evil. That is why we should fight back against them. But intellectually they are trolls, no doubt. And that is why it is so frustrating to deal with them.
