the same Republicans that are against stem cell research and science in general. I dont know if this has ever been posted before, but it's of a man explaining why he voted Bush and it really gives you a look into the Bush-voter's mindset. He watches Fox News and thinks Bush is a stand up guy and Kerry is a flip flopper (although he doesn't know what Kerry has flip flopped on, he doesn't really pay attention he says). VERY SAD, it's the face of ignorance! here is the video:

3. I suppose so!
Too bad you can't see it, it's actually pretty sad how this paralyzed guy (who does not appear to have much money) voted for Bush and he really has no clue why, just spouting the Fox propaganda. By the end he's even mumbling about Clinton "fornicating"... :eyes: he looks completely brainwashed.

2. Well, obviously
Bush will come and lay hands on him and heal him. John Kerry would never be able to do that.

4. It is the mentally impaired like that the Repugnants count on...
I am NOT saying that everyone who voted for Bush is like that...but people like that who are so easily fooled are easy prey for them, just like they are easily taken by any conmen. There are some people with an iota of intelligence who can be conned too... I think in that case it is called brainwashing.

5. "I voted for Bush because he doesn't have a foggy background!"
I do not think that one part of that whole clip made any sense to people with half a brain.

6. "I voted for Bush because he doesn't have a foggy background."
There is no hope left.

This guy's a living, speaking endorsement for making education level a factor in the weight one's vote carrys.

An Hispanic paraplegic saying he believes Bush. Makes me wonder if the master plan is to keep gutting education to produce more ignorant and stupid people that will swallow the right wing line without question.

There is absolutely no hope left for America anymore. We're a nation of dumb asses.

8. He's not as bad as this guy
That quadraplegic is deluded. This one is an evil asshole:

Among them is Van Golden, a Christian, anti-abortion Texan who has sold his house so that he can travel to communist, atheist China and have Huang inject a million cells from the nasal area of a foetus into his spine. According to Golden's doctors, his spine was damaged beyond repair in a car crash last Christmas. The damage to his nervous system was so bad that he has been in a wheelchair and racked by spasms ever since. But Golden refused to give up, even if it meant having to compromise his values. "This is the only place that offered us any hope," he says. "Everyone else offered only to help make me sufficient in that chair. But the chair is not my destiny. It is not ordained."

...

It cannot be easy for a man of his beliefs to be in China, where the government's one-child policy is partly responsible for millions of abortions each year. But instead of shunning the system, Golden believes his only hope is to embrace it. There is nowhere else he could get foetal cells. "I wish there was another way they could do it. There are 4,000 abortions a day in the US. Partial-birth ones are murder on a most terrible level. What they are doing here is a whole lot more humane. Four thousand a day. That's a waste. Something good should come out of something bad. The people who don't believe that aren't in a wheelchair."

...

Golden's Christian wife, Debbie, also sees Huang as an idealist - particularly in comparison to the US doctors who charged her husband almost $1m, but were able only to make him more comfortable in his wheelchair.

"In the US it's totally about money, but China is more ethical," she says. "They work harder. I'm American, so that is very hard to say.

"I don't agree with abortion, but it will happen anyway. In the US, we do abortions but don't use the cells. In China, they don't just take life and destroy it - they give something back. It's like lemonade out of lemons. You take something bad and you make it good."

10. As A Disabled Person - I Want To Slap That Stupid Stupid Man
I can't watch it - It's hard to accept that a disabled person w/ a working brain can still be brainwashed by the right-wing media, ill informed rabid right-wingers and the Jerry Falwell's of chuch TV can take thier garbage to the level that even the most neediest people will vote against their interests in the name of some small hope that the God fearing so-called-Christian politicians in the GOP will save him.

This is right up there with gays voting for thugs.
