USA Today hit piece on the left: Enviromentalists are terrorists

talking about this housing complex in Baltimore that was burned down. The article detailed that there was no evidence or suspects, but the headline read somethign to the effect that "Eco-Terrorism Suspected in Arson Case".

Oh I get it... anyone who is concerned about the environment is not a republican anymore, but a leftist environmentalist who embraces terrorism. No problem, then, with rounding up these "Terrorist Enemies of America" and putting them in concentration camps I guess... :shrug:

1. I heard the same story last night...

The head inspector (forgot his name) said this wasn't like some of the Eco-terrorist actions because it lacked the usual calling card.

"You build it, we burn it." Was the trademark of a group who had done things like this.

The motive is most likely insurance - investigate the owner.

Tho, the ELF should be a prime suspect (not that an ELF exists, outside of how those upholding it's standards operating on their own). Fits the MO, fits the reason. However, I didn't hear of any calling cards left behind. No "You build it, we burn it." or the like.

How solvent was the developer? Was he a Republican?

I'd be mighty suspect about "eco-terrorists"....just like I'm suspect of "Free Quebec" radicals bombing power transmission lines.

Who benefits? That's who I'd be most suspicious of.
