4. the funding for the New Freedom Initiative . . .

was part of that massive (3,300 pages) budget bill that Congress passed . . . with the help of a lot of Democrats, including enought Democratic Senators to have squashed the bill if they'd all voted against it . . . there's no way any of them could have read it or, therefore, understood it . . . which in my book means they should have voted against it until they had time to digest it and talk it over with colleagues and constituents . . . instead, they just rubber stamped another BushCo disaster . . . do these people EVER think? . . .
