So does anybody actually know what Overstock.com is selling in commercials
Edited on Tue Nov-23-04 12:27 PM by Walt Starr
???

I see a "Big O" all over the thing. A blonde, attractive woman. A phone number something like "1-800-TheBigO".

So tell me, what are these rightwing nutballs selling our children?

5. It seems they are trying to attract women as customers
Selling "The Big O" seems a blatant attempt to drive their marketing towards women in a "Viagra commercial" methodology.

4. I know they sell "Fahrenhype 9/11" exclusively..
It was "overstocked" from day one because nobody wanted to buy it.

7. Consumerism is the 'new sex'
At least for some.

It's socially permitted, even applauded. It provides instant gratification (to some).

And, it makes the rich guys even richer. A winning strategy.

(ps. we're doomed in real life, but just keep shopping...)

BIG donations to the democrats, and then one to Pat Toomey who was a republican challenging Specter, because Specter was too liberal, right? What do you suppose that was about?
