An innocent search for a picture of chihuahua's led me here...
Edited on Tue Nov-23-04 01:34 AM by fleabert
Warning: This is repulsive, hate-mongering, evil shit parody, apparently. I did not see it that way at first, but have been convinced. sort of. Just who would do this? I'd like to know. What can I do with the Whois search to find out? I will leave my first edit on to be honest with myself (and others) that I fell for a parody site.

Edit: Okay, some people think it's a parody site. Parody of WHAT? I am not usually a paranoid person, but this freaked me out. I have a pretty good bullshit meter too, why didn't it go off for this one? It did at first, but some of the links have nothing that would make me think parody. Just scared the hell out of me. Perhaps I jumped to conclusions and they 'got me'. whatever, if it is parody, I think it's in very bad taste.

"Dick Cheney: "When I sit down in the morning with Lynne for coffee and low-fat baby meat, I unquestionably require my daily dose of patrioticamerica dot net. No American should be without it. In fact, I plan on covertly inserting a law into the next freedom-stealing Act we pass. It's not as if anybody will read it anyway...God Bless the FPA..." - NY Post, 11/11/02 "

8. I'm not so sure.
some of it seems like parody, but some of the other links go to things that without irony talk about some scary shit.

Are you sure this is parody? am I that sensitive these days?

10. I'm pretty sure...
About us:

"Our offices are located in the Georgetown area of Washington, DC. We maintain a strict policy of not giving out our exact address on the Internet, due to a history of threats and mischief attempts by certain terroristical individuals and immoral unpatriotic groups. If you are in Georgetown and wish to meet with us in person, be on the lookout for our office in a large brick building somewhere."

"We will counter and attempt to silence the online voices of fanatical and terroristical persons with communist, unpatriotic, and anti-American sentiment, whenever and wherever they occur on online forums. Click here for a listing of some of these anti-American forums, which are a breeding ground for terrorism. Truth, and even believable lies, if need be, are important to keep these people's outlandish opinions at bay."

6. I hope so. Lots of searching doesn't make it seem so.
Some of it seemed to be parody to me, but it's pretty radical for a 'joke'.

who in their right mind thinks this is funny?

9. I can see what you are saying, but
are you sure the whole thing is parody, or is some of it set up that way? who would set up a site like this? I don't think it's funny, and I am usually a pretty laid back chick.

4. This has to be a joke
What they were putting under the poll about Wes Clark was just too unreal. At least they got our nicknames for Little Booties right, at least most of them anyway.

11. LOL, When you suspect something is a parody...
ask yourself if there is ANYTHING to suggest otherwise? In this case there isn't.

It's a parody.

16. this qualifies as parody?
"Vote Bush in 2004, while patriotically assisting in the accidental deaths or suicides of his opponents, because democracy is at stake--Hitler must not rise again"

Why would anyone think this is funny?

:silly:

I think I am a bit allergic to my new yarn. It's very wispy and I am very sneezy. Sucks too, cause it's beautiful! I have to take breaks to feel better.

Just a bad day all around for the fleabert. :nopity:
