Smiley, a liberal black TV and nationally syndicated radio commentator, comes out swinging at the Republicans and their "Contract on America" in this partisan, thoughtful political statement. I enjoy his interviews and I've never set out to watch them - just stumble on them while surfing - he's a great interviewer

I hope someday Tavis moves on to bigger and better things, such as public leadership. I can tell that he's a brilliant man.

6. I watch him on KCET

I wish his show was longer. he is the best. His interview w/ RFK jr about a month B4 the election was inspiring, intelligent and thoughtful. I heard him in an interview, probably a year ago now, claimin that kindasleazy had NO street cred in the African-American community bur powell did.

Some knucklehead here tried to tell me Tavis was a republican a couple weeks ago :crazy:
