Is this what prompted you to ask the question?
Tonight on network news, 11/15/04 -- Colin Powell announces he will resign as Secretary of State. CBS News says that Condi will be offered the job. A clip of Bush is shown walking toward a podium, and he gives Condi a little kiss on the cheek as he passes by her.
Going back a ways (remember, this is SPECULATION, I'm not saying it proves anything, but hey, we need entertainment):
Political Conversation: Condi’s Slip
...At a dinner party
hosted by New York Times D.C. bureau chief Philip Taubman and his wife, Times reporter Felicity Barringer, and attended by Arthur Sulzberger Jr., Maureen Dowd, Steven Weisman, and Elisabeth Bumiller, Rice was reportedly overheard saying, “As I was telling my husb-” and then stopping herself abruptly, before saying, “As I was telling President Bush.” Jaws dropped, but a guest says the slip by the unmarried politician, who spends weekends with the president and his wife, seemed more psychologically telling than incriminating. Nobody thinks Bush and Rice are actually an item. A National Security Council spokesman laughed and said, “No comment.”

Re: The Aaron McGruder cartoon series "Boondocks," which asked who would Condi date? What kind of man? It was quite persistent, went on and on for days.
"Its creator, 29-year-old Aaron McGruder, delights in sparking debate with pointed political messages. Because Boondocks is targeted at the hip-hop generation and uses African-American references and slang, some of its humor - and potential offensiveness - goes over the heads of many readers.
Sometimes, however, editors determine it has gone too far. The Washington Post chose not to run a recent series about national security adviser Condoleezza Rice." "Comics and controversy: Funny you should mention that," by ERIC HARRISON, Houston Chronicle 1 19 04

"Single and single-minded in her devotion, she is among his most intimate aides, accompanying him and the first lady on their weekends to Camp David."
The wording is very suggestive and Blumenthal is careful about his wording.

Remember when Dubya visited Iraq with a plate of plastic turkey for the troops last Thanksgiving? The trip was all hush-hush. I don't have the quote handy, but he snuck out of DC and eluded reporters. Condi said something like, "Yeah, we had baseball caps on, and looked just like any other couple."

Oh yeah -- and, the 9-11 Commission? Remember, they fought tooth and nail to keep Condi from testifying. Almost like a husband/wife privilege in court.

Okay, are you entertained?
