Still seeing Kerry signs up
I hope they're still up b/c people want to keep on fighting, and not b/c of laziness in taking them up.

1. I still have my Kerry/Edwards buttons on my school bag.
I'm not taking those off until the Democrat nominee is named in early '08.

4. Still got my Kerry/Edwards bumper sticker on my Voyager...
and it will not come off until it falls off...

But - I just traded in my Lumina with the DU sticker on - so I guess I will have to ante up to get a new one!

5. People like me are still going through stages of grieving
I haven't scraped my bumper sticker off. Might not do that for a long time, although I don't see ANY on the road.

7. I've still got mine on.
Edited on Tue Nov-16-04 12:49 AM by NEOBuckeye
Partly because I haven't had the heart or the patience to remove it yet. But the other part of me wants to leave it there out of defiance against Bush and the people who were dumb enough to fall for Rove's propaganda.

When the cumulative damage of the Bush-Cheney-Rove machine finally becomes too painful for the Red masses to ignore over the next four years, we will be vindicated, though it's not something I'd take much joy in.

6. In my parking lot at work
There were 5 cars just in my row with Kerry stickers.

I decided to put my pin back on when I'm shopping. People ask about it, I tell them about vote fraud, and let them know that I'm wearing it until we have a way to prove who won the election.

8. Still in my window and on my car
I have 4 Kerry signs (of different flavors) in my office window. The Kerry Real Deal sticker will come off when I have to replace the bumper. And I still have my website: www.kerrysupport.com.

I wear various Kerry buttons too on laptop bags and whatnot.

11. Are you keeping your website indefinitely?
It's very cool. I'm thinking about donating... I still support John Kerry all the way.

22. I'm going to keep it for a while
The header graphics may change, but the content will evolve to be around what is going on with the issues like voter reform, 2006 elections and hopefully impeachment actions.

I'm presently getting hours of footage of the campaign logged and am going to make a documentary of the 2004 race from my angle.

Check out the site often. :->

9. Two Houses in the Neighborhood
still have signs up. One has 4 Kerry signs. The other has 2 * signs. The house with the * signs was surrounded by houses with Kerry signs. Used to make me feel good to drive down that street. I'm betting that the house with the Kerry signs will be the last to take theirs down.

10. Still got all my propaganda!
4 Kerry bumper stickers still on my car.

3 Kerry buttons on my school backpack.

3 Kerry buttons on my purse.

2 Kerry signs in my window (and one in my parents' window).

And they aren't coming off.

In my heart, that man is my president. It never was and never will be *.

17. WAY TO GO!
Edited on Tue Nov-16-04 02:51 AM by Forever Free
I still have my Kerry-Edwards button on my backpack. We got a John Kerry sign (the old school blue one) on our dorm window. Our door is plastered with stickers, from a Kerry-Edwards one to a bunch of anti-Bush ones which include ones that say:

"We're in big trouble when our bomb are smarter than our president."

"Asses of Evil"

"More trees, less Bush"

"Four more wars"

"Putting the "con" in conservative"

"Somewhere in Texas, a village is missing its idiot"

"One person, one vote *may not apply everywhere*"

"Thanks for not paying attention"

Our Kerry gear will never come down. He will ALWAYS be MY president.

I don't go to a super-liberal campus, and I'm from a slightly freeperish part of Illinois, but I'll be damned if I take my stickers and signs down. I was proud to vote for Kerry and still support him. Hell, if Bush turns this country into a police state and the Justice Dept. Gestapo knocks on my door in the middle of the night, I'll be proud to tell them, too.

Welcome to DU by the way! :hi:

13. Minneapolis is covered in K/E signs!
I just returned from a visit and it moved me deeply to see all the signs up, in every neighborhood, on almost every home on some streets. I even saw two Wellstone signs (!), so I expect the Kerry signs to be up for a long while.

19. Lots Around Here!
Still in the yards, tagboard signs in house windows. Someone even stapled one to a phone pole a week after the election and it's still there. :D

20. All my signs and stickers are still up-and I live across from a very busy
street plus the freeway, and when people are stopped in traffic on the freeway I know they can read the signs!! I don't care if people think I'm stubborn or in denial, I'm proud and defiant, and won't accept this crap that bushco is trying to feed us! I've seen quite a few Kerry stickers around town, and when able to I catch their eye and wave-really lifts me up, and hopefully them, too. The power of the people, our voices will not be smothered!!

(my favorite one is my "No one died when Clinton lied" bumper sticker, will always be there, even though it's magnetic it is staying put, give people something to think about besides how crappy all the other drivers are)

still dot the streets and road around Allentown and Bethlehem and the tiny village in which I live.

Folks, simple common folks, are stunned but have not folded to the inevidable machine. Rock on!

I'm going to keep my Kerry for Pres sticker on my truck and my "W 4 War" sticker on my truck, just so I can say "I told you so" to all the dillusionals in another two or three years.

26. Until I see all the B/C bumperstickers gone, I'm keeping mine.
In '92 and '96, I removed my Clinton/Gore bumper stickers the morning after the election.

As I'm driving along, I think I may remove my Kerry bumper sticker, and then I see a car with 3 Bush/Cheney stickers. That's when I decide mine will stay up for a while longer.
