BEV will be with Nader at 1pm new conference!!
I just read this in other thread.
I am just so happy that this is happening. Now I understand why she did not put too many definite information on the web. This is something nobody can ignore!!

3. 8 days ago, he was reviled
and wouldn't face reality.

Now, he's the new hero of the tin foil DU.

I don't get it!

Who changed?

4. I don't mind accepting that I may have misjudged Nader's motif...
Until November 2nd result, I still have some faith in this country and system. Now the system itself is rigged. With my math background, the abnormal spike to exit poll result from battle states are statistically impossible unless there were vast 'left wing comspiracy' to cordinate such a uniform exit poll tampering, which is much harder to do than 'voting fraud' we are after.

From the night I saw the difference between exit polls and published polls, I was convinced the election was stolen. However, my point is not about 2004 election any more. It is about future. It is almost funny to see some people talking about 2008 without seriously examining what really happened during this election.

I also lost faith in DNC completely so far. From what I see, local and congressional elections are the place we should focus first. In that sense only DFA and some active Green charters are doing the right thing.

If Nader can show us what he is after now, I am very willing to accept my mistake. This new conference may become a history making moment in democracy in U.S.

8. ill say this again about nader. there is politics and there is honesty.
Edited on Wed Nov-10-04 12:24 PM by bullimiami
i had serious political disagreements with nader this time, i still think he should have joined us instead of battling us.

this now is not about politics. its about america, democracy and honesty in government. I am proud to say he is an honest man and a fighter for freedom. anyone who sits back and lets injustice stand without challenge is a coward in my opinion.

10. Press Release here from votenader.com
Ralph Nader Holds Press Conference in Washington, DC 1:00 PM, November 10, 2004
Was Every Vote Counted Accurately?
Nader/Camejo Goes Forward with Hand Recount in New Hampshire
Washington, DC: Independent Presidential Candidate Ralph Nader will be holding a press conference at 1:00 in at 1616 P Street, NW, 7th Floor. The press conference will focus on widespread reports of voting problems that raise questions about vote counting. The United States needs to face up to serious shortcomings in its electoral process so that we can have trust in the results of the vote.

Nader/Camejo has requested a hand recount of the vote in New Hampshire because of reports of anomalies favoring President Bush in towns that used the Diebold AccuVote optical scan machines. A hand recount will either rule out the possibility of machine error or show a discrepancy in the Diebold machine and the actual vote—either way voters need to know. To review the request for a hand recount in New Hampshire visit www.VoteNader.org. Similar inexplicable results have been found in other states, including Ohio. Nader has called on John Kerry to demand that every vote be counted accurately. His campaign has remained strangely silent on the matter.

This election has highlighted the need for electoral reform including federal standards for federal offices and non-partisan administration of the elections from ballot access, through debate participation and to how the vote is cast and counted.

Where: 1616 P Street, NW
Washington, DC 20036

When: 1:00 PM, November 10, 2004

11. Nader is trying to repair his legacy
If he reveals the fraud that I so much believe is apparent, he'll definitely go down as a folk hero.
