Who are the democrats going to nominate next?
Edited on Tue Nov-09-04 10:37 PM by The FBI Monkey
2000 we nominated Gore
2004 we nominated Kerry
2008 who are we going to nominate next?

What do you think?

----EDIT 7:35 pm----

Oh I think that Kerry is and would be a great candidate, but I serriously doubt he will run again...

2. Hopefully someone I've never heard of
because I can't think of anyone right now who has a chance. Heavy sigh.

And by that I mean I can't think of anyone who could win big enough for them not to be able to steal the damned election.

5. Who Will Speak for Us
Rather than being concerned with who we will nominate next, I am more concerned about who will be the face of the Party for the next 4 years. Who will speak for us?

One of the Democratic Party's biggest failers during these past few years, is the failure to learn how to get its message out when it does not have the White House Rose Garden as its backdrop.

We need a Democrat to step up and speak truth to power during these next 4 years.

7. Too early
It's too early, it's a bit silly to think about who's going to run because we won't find out till at least 2006. I'd rather meet a lot of new progressives ready to take on the 235 or so Republican House members.

12. I think we need to think about 2006, not 2008
I know it is fun to think about what we might do 4 years from now, but how about we start planning for 2 years from now. We need to start finding good candidates to run for house and senate seats. We need to figure out how to fight in all areas of our country. And we also need to keep our base together and engaged.

So there we go.
