4. Evangelical just bugs me as a title for these people

Evangelicism is traditional a call to missionary work. Now you might call them annoying or misguided, but the urge to save your neighbors is at least a charitable impulse.

But it strikes me that too many of these so called "evangelicals" don't want to save anybody. Rather they are far more comfortable imagining themselves as the only ones being saved while everybody else is going to hell. I mean if everybody had a shot at heaven, how could they continue to look down on everyone.
