4. The stories are trickling in and the isues are becoming widespread
For thoe investigating, keep on keeping on. It may not be enough to keep them from taking offie on January 20th, but it could result in grounds for impeachment tht cannot be ignored by a REpublican majority.

6. Seminole, so far, is also just reporting 0 for provisional ballots.
There were anywhere from 8 to 10 in the one precinct I was in.

7. "The Supervisor of Elections, Dennis Joyner
said he does not know how the ballots became wet". Uhmm.. Water?

Remember that call you got from Karl Rove? The one where he said, "Hose down the Kerry votes", yea, that's the one.

Seriously, this fraud thing is going to absolutely explode very soon. Brace yourselves, it's going to be a wild ride.

"The wet ballots were apparently discovered unmarked Tuesday at the Community United Methodist Church in Casselberry, Fla."

14. I think Florida Law is similar to my home state
If Ballots are received that cannot be read by the scanner, they are canvassed manually, duplicated to dry (in this case) ballots, and then fed into the machine.

MANY ballots arrive covered in coffee, dampened in the mail (absentees), or filled out improperly (ink instead of graphite, for example). They get duplicated unless the intent of the voter is unclear. Trust me, you cannot believe the number of different ways voters fill out a paper ballot.

Some put x's through a single candidate's name in every race--What is the intent? Is that a vote for or against? Some line-through the candidate's name--for or against? Some rest a pencil in one oval (faint dot) but put a only-slightly more dark dot in the other oval. What is the intent?

Some write in a candidates name--but nowhere near the race with ovals---No votes for President, but the name John Kerry appears wirtten in elsewhere on the ballot-What is the intent?

What I'm saying is that the law in most states accounts for ballot problems--even if they're soaked. I wouldn't cry conspiracy (IN THIS CASE ONLY) just yet.

Kurt
