Perhaps we should try the Carry Nation approach to BBV?
Carry Nation was fairly successful at drawing attention to her cause getting a group together and bashing saloons with axes.

Can you just imagine if we all started running into polling places and doing the same to Diebold machines?

(Of course Carry Nation would probably be in Gitmo if she were alive today)

1. Violence like that will just hurt our cause.
Geez get out on the mixed boards and tell people what we know about this election.

It will be hundreds of times more effective, take less time, be much less likely to get you locked up.

If we fought the verbal battles better on the mixed boards (meaning if we had larger numbers of people fighting. I know the smart people posting for our side have it heads and tails above the right wingers) we could have even overcome the massive fraud of the neocons.

2. Well, it sounds a bit EARLY for that for me,
but it wouldn't be a bad idea as a kind of last resort thing.

Don't plan it *here* though. :D

5. Not really early, the darkness is already here, but there are other ways
to fight

Here's one way: If you look at what happened (and is still happening) to Sinclair broadcasting you will see the power of consumer and stockholder outrage. Right now our money is much more powerful than our votes. I am no economist, but it seems that if we can channel public outrage into a truly massive consumer revolt, we can begin to starve the beast before it finishes us off. I think that the public will become more and more angry in the near future as oppression and failures increase. For the moment we still have some freedom on the internet; let's use it to organize a movement and hit them where it matters (economically). All it will take is a unified front.
