Loser repub in CA says winning Dem is a drunk-driving lesbian
Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 12:13 PM by party_line
Failed Assembly candidate Dean Gardner lashed out Friday at the incumbent who beat him, implying in a television interview that Nicole Parra has racked up drunken driving arrests and led an "alternative lifestyle."

"I didn't go into her personal life, DUIs or alternative lifestyle," the Bakersfield businessman told KGET Channel 17 in talking about his 30th Assembly District campaign.

An annoyed Parra denied having any drunken driving arrests. She said she doesn't know what Gardner meant by "alternative lifestyle," but she has had a serious boyfriend for nearly two years.
...........
Parra, 34, said she's had only three minor run-ins with the law.

She said she was cited for trespassing during a protest she participated in while a University of California, Berkeley student in 1991. The protest had to do with tenures for professors, naming a center after labor leader Cesar Chavez and adding a cultural studies requirement, she said.

She said she got a bike ticket at age 12 and a traffic ticket for failure to yield when she was working as a congressional aide to Rep. Cal Dooley.

In his television interview Friday, Gardner accused Parra of unfairly attacking him during this year's campaign, which was a rematch from 2002. Parra had highlighted his seven bankruptcies and dozens of liens and lawsuits.

1. Seven?
How the hell do you rack up seven bankruptcies? I thought you had to wait 7-10 years between them?

3. Corporate Bankruptcies
No waiting period. No personal liability. New business name. Off we go. Arthur Anderson, Inc. changes its name to Accenture. Worldcom is back to MCI. It's outrageous, they get the rights of personhood with none of the responsibilities that us real people have to meet.

2. Typical republican trying the bush* method of lies and deceit. Nothing
new except he thinks that what a horrible and effective cabal can accomplish on a national scale he can accomplish it on a local one.

Welcome to Bizarro World where:

For the law is now the lawless
'N the flaw is now the flawless
'N the crime is now accepted
'N the criminal respected
'N now evil gets elected
'N now sinful get selected
Heed a president proven rotten
Now officially forgotten
Was it you General Sheridan who once said "The only good, good man
is a dead good man"
It was not me babe
I just said keep your head and your bread well down under them
