Edited on Sun Nov-07-04 05:00 AM by Is It Fascism Yet
like many of you I have been receiving letters from Terry McAuliffe about how we should start preparing for elecion 08. Is the man crazy? Below is a copy of my reply to Terry.

Dear Terry,
I am not interested in planning how we can sit tight and let them steal another one in 08. How about we don't give up on this one? I doubt there will be any democratic elections held in 08 if we got only pretenses of elections in 00 and 04. Do we have to go to Iraq or Afghanistan to witness an election where they actually count the votes? How dare you give up on the 04 election when they haven't counted our votes yet, and then ask me to start worrying about a future election? Are you fucking crazy man? Excuse the "Cheney English", but, you must be. Look, Terry, My Homie, we haven't had a legal election in 2 cycles, you are not gonna take this country back with continued fake elections. Diebold has spoken. Challenge it, or we will live forevermore in a fascist theocracy.
Kind regards,

Subject: Help determine the Democratic Party's next steps

Dear,

I want to thank you for everything you've done over the course of this campaign. Time and time again we asked for your help, and you were always there for us.

Even though we didn't win back the White House, you created something historic. Our grassroots campaign of hope and optimism was unprecedented in American politics. More than 1 million volunteers made 11 million person-to-person, door-to-door contacts, and made 38 million phone calls to voter in battleground states.

If you were involved in these grassroots activities, we want to hear from you about your experience. What did you do? Did you feel the action you took was effective? Was it a good experience for you? How would you make it better?

Tell us your thoughts.

We plan to use your feedback to help develop our strategy in 2005. As always, you will continue to play a critical role in the future of the Democratic Party. What we created together will be the backbone for Democratic victories in the future.

You and I know that this fight is not over. We will never waver when it comes to defending our values and fighting for what we know is right.

Again, thank you for helping create something special.

Sincerely,

Terry McAuliffe
Chairman

1. Like I said, there are no white knights coming
to our rescue. Nobody from the democratic party is working on this. It's over. And so, just about, is my financial support for the democratic party.

2. How can the nonchalant attitude of our democratic leaders be any
surpirse to us. Most of them are members of the same country clubs and corporate boardrooms. So rocking the boat is out of the question for them. Terry can stick his request for commments about the election wherever he wishes - I DON'T CARE!

3. I filled it out
and trust me, he ain't gonna like what I said. My first suggestion was that he do the honorable thing and resign immediately.
