Bill Clinton
can go to hell! Never thought I would ever say that. However, he is bragging about how organized and what a wonderful job the right wing machine did. That is the very machine that sought to destroy him while he was in office. We stood by him when they wanted to destroy him. Then he says Bush is a good messenger? He should call Bush out for the fake he is. What is he saying that Kerry was not a good messenger? Perhaps Tweety had it right all along. Clinton,Carville,Begala(well, he only said Clinton but I'm adding the rest on my own) and the rest of them secretly hoped that Kerry would not win because they wanted Hillary to run in 08. Politics is an awful game. I'm sick of it.

9. Clinton once said in one of the many interviews he did.....
just before his book came out, that no matter what the repubs do, no matter how nasty they act, the best way to respond is with a smile.

He stated that by refusing to respond with anger and by responding instead with a care-free smile and feelings of goodwill, it confounds the repubs to no end - it unsettles them.

Their mission is to accomplish their mission and to do this while making us crazy insane with frustration. If we keep our cool, they become wary and then have to keep looking over their shoulders. While they're busy looking over their shoulders, they're not always able to see where they are stepping.

10. lies are easier to sell then truth
any child knows it, simply because truth can't be dressed up.....some grow up and they lie even when the truth actual better idea, but habits are habit. the repukes are boring old goose steppers fulla nazipoo; there's nothing they do that anyone with 2 arms and legs etc couldn't as well cuz being a cheap shot lying crook is very easy. (especially when you're also the law)....
btw i think Clinton is telegraphing something to liberals ie the old style working with integrity etc has failed for a long time and conman ethics now is not only legitimate, but necessary, so do it.
It's ironic that the so called christian values gang has radically changed how the game is played, by destroying honesty as a plus or a strength

2. Remember all the "mad conspiracy rantings"
One common theme had the likes of the Bushes, Clintons, Rockfellers, and other powerful people sharing a common purpose. That purpose, depending on the article, can be globalization, power for the elite, one world order, blah blah. Mind you, I don't see die-hard proof for this kind of thing...but this latest Clinton response along with tidbits in history of we bother to look at them...don't do anything to refute those "mad conspiracy rantings".

4. I think you may have to think about this...
* is a good messenger, for those who hate anyone not like them, and who strive to create an American theocracy, among other equally dangerous things. I would also argue that the RW smear machine IS, in fact, very prganized and it does do a wonderful job completing its assignment, which is to completely distort the truth about Democrats and liberals/progressives. Can anyone argue that they do not do a wonderful job? I think that you have to take these things in perspective.

7. Hmmmmm, I wonder...
I suspect that we could put together a very long list of 'good messengers' and that few of them will have proven to be beneficial for their various societies.

14. the Weimar republic
mygod the nazis and their bizniz friends hated the 'leftist' Weimar republic, which laboured mightily to pay off germany's ww1 reparations bills, plus global depression starting in '29...within 20 years many of them would look back at the liberal republic with a deep shame in their hearts

5. Don't be a Playa - Hatea we got our asses kicked. They were good. Why
can't we be as good or better?

They beat us not because they are superior but because they are smart. We need to quit being so political and be SMART.

12. Whew! Attitudes turn on a dime around here.
I usually don't even mention Clinton in my posts here, because most people seem(ed) to love him. He lost me with NAFTA. I was never a fan of moving the center rightward, but most other Democrats seemed to love the guy.

And now he's a villain. Strange world.

13. You're drinking the Kool-Aid now. Stop it!!
Introspection is the best antiseptic. If we can't look at ourselves and take criticism from each other how can we hope to move forward and bring others along?
