I wonder if the moderate and semi-moderate Repugs in Congress
understand that they are next. They're already told to go along and shut up or they not only will not get any Repug funds for their races, Rove and co. will run someone against them.

They also will never get the chairman seats on these committees. Rove and co. do not want anyone who had devloped a respectful relationship with Dems to control anything.

Either every mod repug is going to sell their souls to keep their jobs or there will be a mass defection from the repug party...let's hope it's the later.

i believe the later is possible....but it will have to happen as a GROUP OF THEM AT ONCE...and it is the Dems job to organize this for them and to show them the PEOPLE are with them....even if they go Independent that will do... but getting alot of these moderates out of the facist theocracy sounds like a good idea...and one they will see as doable for them... they wont jump immediately clinging onto false hopes....but give them 6months to one year and the writing will be on the wall....

2. I saw a special on Frontline one night
that focused on Club For Growth. One of their main goals is to beat the "RHINOS" of the republican party. They are after Arlen Specter big time right now. If you feel like getting dirty just look at their homepage (yuck).

The moderates should find themselves in an interesting position over the next 2 years at least. According to Club for Growth, there isn't any room in the party for moderates. They want them to get with the program or get out. Literally. They are targeting the moderates and trying to take them down. It will be interesting to see what happens.

3. I believe you are wasting your time and mind thinking about
reThuglican moderates in congress. By now we should have learned the lesson that they have no sense of integrity and will bend whichever way to stay with the crowd. In fact I believe they are probably the source of the confusion affecting the DLC in the democratic party. Constantly enticing the DLCer's with never ending possibilities of defecting or causing internal rift within the reThuglican party. I don't believe that will happen - so let us stop wasting our time and look for other solution(s) to our problems.
