SEND THESE FLORIDA NUMBERS TO THESE MEDIA EMAIL LISTS.
Edited on Fri Nov-05-04 11:21 PM by BUSHOUT
Take a little time to understand these numbers. The columns are explained at the bottom.

Here they are:
http://ustogether.org/Florida_Election.htm

If these numbers are real there's something very strange goign on with Floridas voting.

Below are four lists of email addys. I mailed the Florida numbers link to them along with a little polite WTF? commentary.

I found all the addresses were to much for one email, thus the four lists.
kick this when you're done so others can email this info and demand media attention also.

in 52 counties that all use op/scan . Kerry got 42% of vote total in those counties. The touch screen counties are much closer to expected results.

4. I'm not sure whether these figures are significant...
Edited on Sat Nov-06-04 12:24 AM by JDWalley
Unless I misread this, the op-scan counties where there are many fewer (D) votes than registrations are not in the big cities, where there would reasonably be a sizeable progressive turnout, but in the rural and/or most conservative counties in the state. It would not surprise me at all to see a lot of "Democrats" (whose party affiliation possibly dates from before the Civil Rights Act of 1965) in those areas who support conservative local DINOs, but routinely vote against "liberal" Democratic candidates from up north.

A lurker friend of mine suggested that we look at the official state turnout results at http://enight.dos.state.fl.us/ versus CNN's figures at http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004//pages/results/states/FL/P/00/county.000.html. It should be obvious that there are discrepancies between the two sets of figures. Leaving aside the lack of any votes from Hernando County in the official tally, the figures don't match in Broward, Miami-Dade, Orange, Osceola, or Palm Beach. And, since CNN has more votes than the state in some counties and less in others, it's not simply accounted for by one of them being slow to update their figures. Also, it might be noted that, although CNN's findings for two of those counties (Broward and Miami-Dade) might be reasonably explained by CNN using less than 100% of all precincts reporting, their Palm Beach count likewise includes only 99% of all precincts, but still manages to be 87,546 votes higher than the official tally.

:wtf:

10. I don't understand either.
If there are more votes than voters, something is seriously wrong.

5. Who can demand a recount at this time?
Kerry already conceded. What recourse is there?

7. It's been said 1000 times on DU...conceding means nothing legally..
If fraud is found, a recourse will be taken. The fact he's conceded means nothing.

21. You have to wait until they finish the count
before you request a recount. Florida can't finish the first round of counting until they verify all of the provisional ballots and absentee ballots.

This is what Kerry meant when he promised that every vote would be counted. If they file a complaint during the counting phase, it would shut down the count and we don't want that to happen.

16. If you're sending an email with the numbers, send this also!!!
http://www.house.gov/judiciary_democrats/gaoinvestvote2004ltr11504.pdf

Notice the reference to the Florida within this congrssional inquiry request! It's the fifth point down that starts "In Florida..." and contains the link.

Now include a reference to this congressional request when sending emails to the media about these strange Florida numbers.

19. Here is some more interesting information
I did not copy the entire article but I inserted the link. I had heard that the makers of the voting machines were somehow tied into George Bush. Well, here is how. ES&S is the company that makes the Optical Scanner machines.

How George W. Bush Won the 2004 Presidential Election

By Sandeep Atwal

Helping America Vote Right

"The Christian worldview is the answer. We need Christian statesmen who press for the Crown Rights of Jesus Christ in all areas of life. This isn't political salvation or an overnight fix. It will take decades of mobilization and confrontation to undo a century of godless socialism. It must be a grassroots movement that starts in individual families and churches and then moves outward to take dominion. It must encompass every area of life and not just the political arena. Finally, it must start soon, for there isn't much time left. The Florida elections have taught us that the Democrats with their liberal/socialistic worldview will stop at nothing to seize control of the government."

-- Dr. Val Finnell, published by the Chalcedon Institute

If the connections between Hagel and ES&S seem suspect, the origins of America's largest electronic voting machine companies may be just as distressing, especially for those who venerate the separation of church and state. The convoluted system of renaming and buyouts of America's voting system companies is a complicated story. However, once the various corporate trails have been followed, a disturbing picture comes into focus.

Brothers Bob and Todd Urosevich founded American Information Systems. Bob is currently president of Diebold and Todd Urosevich is Vice President, Aftermarket Sales of ES&S. (In 1999, American Information Systems, purchased Business Records Corp to become ES&S.)

American Information Systems (AIS) was primarily funded with money from Ahmanson brothers, William and Robert, of the Howard F. Ahmanson Co. The majority stake in ES&S is still owned by Howard F. Ahmanson and the Ahmanson Foundation

Howard Ahmanson belongs to Council for National Policy, a hard right wing organization and also helps finance The Chalcedon Institute. As the institute's own site reports, Chalcedon is a "Christian educational organization devoted to research, publishing, and promoting Christian reconstruction in all areas of life... Our emphasis on the Cultural or Dominion Mandate (Genesis 1:28) and the necessity of a return to Biblical Law has been a crucial factor in the challenge to Humanism by Christians in this country and elsewhere..." Chalcedon promotes Christian Reconstructionism, which mandates Christ's dominion over the entire world. The organization's purpose is to establish Old Testament Biblical law as the standard for society.
