11. Roe V Wade HAS to go now
They've strung along the religious right for 25 years now. They've controlled everythign for two years and have been handed a majority mandate this year.

Either the Republicans deliver the overturnning of RvW within two years, or they lose their base.

Losing Roe now is a given. Accept it, there is no longer reproductive choice in the United States.

5. I don't know
Rehnquist is gone from the court, for sure. But he was a rw'er, anyway. Replacing him with another rw'er may not make much difference. I just hope the other justices can hang in there.

6. Bush said he no intention of overturning Roe v. Wade
They just use abortion to win votes; they're not stupid enough to actually overturn a decision like that.

13. I believe everything he says. NOT.
Roe v. Wade will be one of the first things they overturn. Ruth Ginsberg is ill. Will she last until 2008? This is a nightmare for the women of this country. A NIGHTMARE.

8. Yep...It's gone
I suspect it will be up to the states. So rich white girls/women can fly to NY or California for abortions. But the poor and middle class will have back alley abortions.

The next step will eliminate most forms of birth control.
