9. It says they can be divided into two groups:
1. Bush sycophants
2. Frightened kittens

The sane vote is distributed amongst the others.

7. exactly. And its the only reason
Typical of freepers, they don't care how incompetent, how condescending, or how much of an asshole he is. He is on their side, so they will throw all of their support behind him.

24. both extremes probably use the internet more and the
ignorant "beige-colored glasses/everything's gonna be okay" types maybe just have the three majors and read the times or the post and don't spend alot of time online.

13. Republicans have to vote for somebody
and they don't trust anyone who tells them what they don't want to hear.

They split the traditional dem vote. Add up all the "respectable" journalists and see what you get.

Jim Lehrer didn't get more votes....a more non-partisan anchor would be difficult to find...

14. Yeah, OK. Lehrer is pretty damned incompetent, IMHO.
I suggest you read some of Bob Somersby's Daily Howler Archives for his pieces on Jim Lehrer. Lehrer readily admitted that the media (himself included) didn't do their homework leading up to the Iraq War, while at the same time talking about his scintillating social life within the Beltway scene.

15. Only in America...
Jon Stewart advertises his show as "the best fake news show on television". At least he's honest about it.

The others are all on fake news shows as well, but they pretend that their news shows are real.

At least Stewart readily acknowledges that he's fake. That would lead me to trust him more as well.

21. Nah, John's just the comic relief...
and I think he'd admit that. John himself called into question several statements that regarded "The Daily Show" as a legitimate news source on his CNN-Crossfire interview.

His show follows crank calling puppets that make poop jokes. What's so refreshing is that The Daily Show doesn't buy into anyone's B.S..

Unless it's really funny B.S...

23. I voted, thanks for posting. These results foretell the future.
People will search out news services that they believe in based on their affiliation, and all these so called trustworthy "bought and sold" people like Brokaw and Jennings will be forced to face their future as fossils from a time of limited information when media people could pretend to be neutral and objective when they really aren't and manipulate the masses that way for their corporate bosses.

Ding! Dong! the witch is dead!!

Yeee hawww!!
