4. It's from 10/12/04 just before the last debate. Don't know why C-SPAN
can't get some of this stuff on sooner. They put enough filler on.

6. It *was* on earlier...... I posted a notice of it. Don't blame C-Span
It was a couple of weeks ago when it was first broadcast.

I was a bit disappointed in it, first of all because it was cut short, and second, because it didn't seem like Moore was having a very good day. Maybe that's why his staff had the cameras shut off.

He's allowed to have his off days, of course........ just like to see him when he's really "on". :)

Just didn't want you to blame C-Span.

Not that they haven't screwed up some things. :)

What's the Matter with Kansas?: How Conservatives Won the Heart of America
Thomas Frank

Description: Thomas Frank, author of "What's the Matter with Kansas?," argues that Republicans have been able to gain the support of large numbers of poor and working class people in America by tapping into their sense of outrage over liberal cultural values. He says that while Republicans almost never act in the economic interest of the working class, they are able to effectively overhype issues like prayer in school and abortion to convince the working class to vote for them. Once in office, says Frank, Republicans accomplish little on the cultural front, but have great successes when it comes to economically aiding the rich. Includes Q&A.

In His Father's Shadow & Bush on the Couch
Stanley Renshon & Justin Frank
Description: In an event hosted by George Washington University, Stanley Renshon and Justin Frank discuss and examine the psychological make-up of President George W. Bush. Dr. Frank, a clinical psychiatrist at George Washington University Medical Center, writes that President Bush was disturbed at an early age by what Dr. Frank describes as an unavailable father and a withdrawn mother. He also talks about his desire to test President Bush for brain damage as a result of possible alcohol and drug abuse. Dr. Frank writes about these and other issues, in "Bush on the Couch: Inside the Mind of the President." He is joined in conversation by Dr. Stanley Renshon, director of the clinical psychology program at City University of New York and the author of "In His Father's Shadow: The Transformation's of George W. Bush." In it, Dr. Renshon writes that President Bush's drive to see America succeed is a direct result of his own transformation into a confident and powerful politician. The author also chronicles instances in President Bush's early life that helped shape who he is now.

they said because of Michael Moores health but that doesn't make much sense to me.

9. He looked ragged and sounded off balance
Still I was disappointed when CSPAN had to cut it off. They said the Moore people told them to because of his health. That's concerning. Anyone know more, and if he's doing better?

13. he seemed a bit manic
he was coherent but his "affect" just didn't seem right to me ...

i wonder whether his meds needed a little fine tuning ... that's what i suspect ... i think whoever asked C-Span to shut off the cameras did Michael a favor ...
