damn, they followed it with American Idiot by Green Day!
politics is officially back in music.

edit 2: they have followed this with Sum 41's "We're all to blame" which is another political anti-american greed/consumerism song ("we want it all with no sacrifice/living in a culture of fear/say thanks to the man of the year...)

MTV is really trying to wake people up this a.m., literally.
